Many of the “free,” aka U.S. taxpayer-funded, weapons the United States is sending to Israel are being resold by the Zionist state to Azerbaijan, which is reportedly using them to massacre Christians. And American evangelicals are nowhere to be found in defending their martyred brothers and sisters in Azerbaijan because to support them would mean to not support Israel.
The Times of Israel reported on this issue back in late 2020, revealing that Israeli-sold weapons such as high-powered drones have been “very effective” in Azerbaijan’s war on Armenia, Armenian Christians being the ongoing target of genocide at the hands of Turkey and its close economic partner Azerbaijan.
In that Times of Israel article, a top Azerbaijani official confirmed that Israeli-made military drones – were it not for receiving constant welfare checks from the U.S., Israel would not be able to make these drones, by the way – are working quite well at ridding the contested Nagorno-Karabakh region of its largely Christian Armenian population.
As explained in this article from First Things, Nagorno-Karabakh was once the home of 120,000 Armenian Christians who had lived in the region for thousands of years, claiming Christianity as their religion since the fourth century, until they were driven out or murdered using Israeli weapons.
According to the Times of Israel piece, Israeli technology “helps Azerbaijan to provide security and safety to its nationals” as they wage war on Armenian Christians in an attempt to rid them all from the land.
“It’s clear to us that Israel has an interest in keeping a military presence in Azerbaijan, using its territory to observe Iran,” revealed Armenian diplomat Tigran Balayan about why Israel wants that piece of land in its control.

Why don’t American Christians care?
Why isn’t this a bigger story?

(Related: If you don’t support Israel’s genocide in Gaza, you are “antisemitic,” according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.)
One of the most disturbing, albeit illuminating, revelations in that same article is the estimate that nearly 70 percent of the Azerbaijan dictatorship’s weaponry comes from Israel. In other words, Azerbaijan’s war on Armenian Christians would not be possible without Israel supplying most of the weapons – and without the U.S. constantly furnishing Israel with the cash it needs to make those weapons.
American Christians, particularly those of the evangelical Zionist flavor, need to recognize that the so-called “apple of God’s eye,” as they refer to Israel’s Zionist government, is persecuting and murdering Armenian Christians with tax dollars supplied from their own pocketbooks via taxes. “Supporting Israel,” in other words, means supporting the slaughter of Armenian Christians.
“American Christians have been trained to accept whatever Israel does because of ‘Judeo-Christian’ beliefs,” someone on X noted about the antithetical nature of the “Judeo-Christian” concept. “They don’t want to believe that that concept is completely made up.”
Armenia is in existential danger. Besides the humanitarian aspect, it’s important for Westerners to care about this since Armenia is the first Christian nation with some of the first Christian sites, some of which are being destroyed by Azeri troops in Artsakh. No matter how Israel and its supporters try to spin it, what the Netanyahu regime is doing in Gaza right now amounts to genocide – and in the name of the God of the Bible, no less. Learn more at Genocide.news.
